Air gap (air-gapped network)

A security measure that physically isolates a system from unsecured networks, including the internet.

An air gap is a security control in which a system or network has no connection to unsecured networks such as the public internet. Data moves in or out only through controlled, deliberate means.

Air-gapped deployments are common in defense, finance, utilities and other environments where the cost of a breach is unacceptable. Software that runs in these environments must work with no outbound internet access.

In ProDCIM

ProDCIM can be deployed fully air-gapped, with its AI running locally on infrastructure the customer controls, so no data is sent to third-party APIs.
