Frequently asked questions

Does ProDCIM work in air-gapped environments?
Yes. ProDCIM can be deployed fully air-gapped, with no internet connectivity, for isolated and sensitive environments. The AI runs locally on infrastructure you control.
What protocols and equipment does ProDCIM support?
Open protocols including SNMP, Modbus, BACnet and MQTT, plus REST APIs and webhooks, and device classes such as Redfish, IPMI, iLO and iDRAC. It is open by design, not a walled garden.
How is ProDCIM different from a traditional BMS?
A BMS (Building Management System) manages building services like HVAC, lighting and fire. ProDCIM is purpose-built DCIM for IT and critical infrastructure: it tracks power, cooling and assets at rack and device granularity, models capacity, and adds AI-assisted operations. It can also ingest BMS data over BACnet and show it alongside IT, power and environment in one view.
Is customer data ever sent to third-party AI APIs?
No. The AI runs on infrastructure the customer controls, and customer data is not sent to external AI APIs.
Is Prochista SOC 2 audited?
Yes. ProDCIM is SOC 2 Type II audited, meaning its security and availability controls have been independently audited.
Can ProDCIM integrate with my existing and legacy equipment?
Yes. It uses the open protocols your equipment already speaks, so it works with existing and legacy gear without a rip-and-replace project.
